Arboretum is a collection of various autochthonous and allochthonous trees and shrubs grown predominantly for educational purposes. The word arboretum comes from latin word arbor which means tree.

The arboretum of the Institute for Nature Conservation of Voivodina Province could be said to represent a live model of Fruska gora mountain. It is designed in a free landscape style of garden art on the area of about 15 acres. Little hills which introduca rhythm in the ambient are associated with the relief of the nearby mountain. Wandering lanes direct visitors through the space and waters to various facilities.
